ผู้สื่อข่าว Mthai News รายงานบรรยากาศเทศกาลวันฮาโลวีนจากถนนข้าวสาร ว่า ค่ำวานนี้ 31 ตุลาคม ถนนข้าวสารคราคร่ำ ไปด้วยชาวต่างชาติ และคนไทยจำนวนมาก ที่ต่างพากันแต่งหน้า ทาปาก รวมทั้งเครื่องแต่งกาย คล้ายคลึงศพ (ผู้เสียชีวิต) ไม่เว้นแม้กระทั่งพนักงานร้านค้า ผับ บาร์ ที่แต่งกายให้เข้ากับบรรยากาศเทศกาล
พร้อมกันนี้นักท่องเที่ยวต่างพากันร้องรำทำเพลง แสดงอาการท่าทาง ความเป็นผีของแต่ละบุคคลด้วยความครื้นเครง
ขณะเดียวกัน ภายในถนนข้าวสารเองยังมีผู้ประกอบการ รับจ้างแต่งหน้าผี ในราคาเริ่มต้นที่ 50 บาท โดยได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานที่เป็นวัยรุ่น ทั้งไทยและต่างชาติเป็นจำนวนมาก
